What is a cross-promotion campaign and how do I start one?
How can I target my cross-promotion campaign?
How can I use cross-promo campaigns to reengage users?
Instead of ignoring devices that have installed your game, use reengagement logic to target them exclusively. Coupled with deep linking, these campaigns let you send existing users directly to locations in your game to show off your latest IAP, promotion or other content. Learn more about reengagement ▶
How do the “Never show after…” options in the “Campaign Logic” section work?
You’ll see two options in that section that affect how cross-promotion ads behave on a given device:
If you leave User installs the app selected, we’ll serve your ad to a device until it sends us a bootup from the promoted game. The User clicks on the interstitial option disables the campaign’s ad-serving to a device after our system logs that device’s click on the ad for the promoted game.
Should I upload both landscape and portrait artwork to advertise the promoted game?
If the promoted game is set (via the App Settings page) to run in both landscape and portrait orientations, you’ll need to add both a landscape and portrait ad to show it off – even if the publishing game has only one orientation set. You can add creatives via the App Settings page’s Promote This App section. Learn more about creatives ▶
